A Message from the Principal
Welcome to Fredstrom Elementary School, the home of the Falcons! I am honored and privileged to be the principal at Fredstrom, working with amazing students, supportive families, and dedicated professional educators. Our focus is on helping students learn and achieve to their greatest potential, each and every day. Our Fredstrom staff work diligently to provide instruction for students at their success level, differentiating instruction so all students are challenged and feel success. We honor the unique strengths, talents, and diversity of each of our students and dedicate our efforts to help each of them experience individual success. Our grade level team teachers (PreK-5), special education resource teachers, and specialists in areas of technology, physical education, science, music, library media and literacy, work collaboratively in Professional Learning Communities to deliver a rich and well-rounded education for every student.
At Fredstrom, we provide a caring, safe and productive learning environment for all students. These are the three school-wide guidelines for student behavior that are taught and modeled throughout our building:

We are committed to meeting the academic, behavioral, social and emotional needs of all students, and working closely with families to ensure student growth and success. We value our relationships among students, staff and families and strive to ensure every single person feels a sense of belonging and respect in our community! We welcome families to visit often and participate in school events and activities. The collaborative relationships we have among our talented staff, caring parents and supportive community are the keys to what makes Fredstrom so special.
We are fortunate to have a very active and supportive Parent-Teacher Organization at Fredstrom. Among many other contributions, it is through their support that we are able to offer students at all grade levels many enriching opportunities that extend the learning students are provided in the classroom.
Fredstrom is an outstanding school and I am honored to work aside such amazing educators and students daily. At Fredstrom, we believe we are truly a family.
