A Message from the Principal…

Welcome to Fredstrom Elementary School, the home of the Falcons! I am honored and privileged to be the principal at Fredstrom, working with incredible students, caring families, and dedicated professional educators. Our focus is on helping students learn and achieve to their greatest potential, each and every day. Each child deserves to be challenged to meet or exceed district/state grade level expectations, and supported in order to do so successfully. Our dedicated staff, working in Professional Learning Communities, strives to implement instructional strategies that meet the needs of all our students and engage them in meaningful learning at their level. Our grade level team teachers (PreK-5), special education resource teachers, and specialists in areas of technology, physical education, science, music, library media and literacy, work collaboratively to deliver a rich and well-rounded education for every student.
At Fredstrom, we provide a caring, safe and productive learning environment for all students. These are the three school-wide guidelines for student behavior that are taught and modeled throughout our building:

- Be responsible
We are committed to meeting the academic, behavioral, social and emotional needs of all students, and working closely with families to ensure student growth and success. We welcome families to visit often and participate in school events and activities. The collaborative relationships we have among our talented staff, caring parents and supportive community are the keys to what makes Fredstrom so special.
We are fortunate to have a very active and supportive Parent-Teacher Organization at Fredstrom. Among many other contributions, it is through their support that we are able to offer students at all grade levels many enriching opportunities that extend the learning they are provided in the classroom.
